BOB VYLAN Win The First Ever ‘Best Alternative Music Act’ Award At The MOBOs!

Last night, history was made at the MOBO Awards at the OVO Arena Wembley as London two piece BOB VYLAN won the first ever Best Alternative Music Act. It’s a category which hadn’t existed until this year and with some help from act such as Nova Twins, who had previously written an open letter to the award organisers to include the category, it finally happened! The other nominees included Nova Twins, Big Joanie, Bob Vylan, Kid Bookie, Loathe and Skunk Anansie. It was also a huge win for independent UK music as the duo have done everything without the help of a major label, which was echo’d in the bands passionate acceptance speech which you can see below:
