With their North America tour underway, Black Veil Brides unleash the next chapter in their career with new single ‘Bleeders’ along with a brand new music video. It’s a welcome return to the heaviness and scream filled sound that introduced us all to the band back in the day. The song opens up with a slow tempo build as electronic elements sit behind the smooth vocals of Andy Biersack before kicking into a slapping drum beats and chunky riffs with orchestral backing. A killer guitar solo leads on to the well missed screams of Andy followed by an in-your-face breakdown.
The song sits well with the Sweeney Todd inspired music video that comes with it too as the brutality of the track compliments the story of the murderous barber perfectly. Watch below.
The single comes from the bands upcoming 3-part The Bleeders EP which is set to be released on June 21st. It will be the band’s first release with Spinefarm Records and is comprised of the title track, a rendition of Sweeney Todd’s ‘My Friends’, and a cover of U2’s ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’.
The Bleeders Tour which is currently ongoing see’s them team up with the American Red Cross and a ‘virtual blood drive’ with fans pledging to donate blood. “As Bleeders, it’s our mission to effect positive change. Help us to help others in this time of need,” reads a statement from the band. One pint of blood can save as many as three lives. As of April 22nd, fans have pledged 1577 pints.
