Black Coast release huge new single & video for ‘Chains’

 

 

One of the UK’s hottest new heavy music purveyors Black Coast have just dropped a huge new single and video entitled “Chains”. The song mashes together influences from 90s grunge, hardcore and Nu-Metal all wrapped up in a modern metal production that sounds as nostalgic as is does fresh, flitting between haunting verses, huge head banging riffs and memorable hooks with vocalist Charlie Hewitt delivering an impressive range of styles. Speaking on the lyrical themes of the track, Hewitt says: “It’s about trying to sort my life out in a positive way. It’s the journey that I’m taking, still trying to figure out how to exist and how certain things from my past still affect me. And, at the same time, trying to work out what is ahead.”
