BANKS ARCADE announce new EP ‘A Muse’ and drop new single ‘Heartstop’
Banks Arcade aren’t intent on sitting still for too long, having already released their EP ‘DEATH 2’ this year they have announcement that another brand new EP entitled “A Muse” will be coming out on June 28 via UNFD. To mark the announcement the New Zealand-hailing, Melbourne-based quartet have dropped a new single from it ‘Heartstop’. The song is a rocked up anthem full of swagger and infectious melodies that showcase the bands ability to produce songs that would sit perfectly on any radio rock station’s playlist.
Speaking on the single the band share: “Heartstop is a sassy breakup rock anthem, It’s got a bit of ‘f*** you’ to it, but really it’s just a fun song that was made to make people dance and forget about that asshole that broke their heart.”

On the upcoming new EP, the band share: “A Muse follows on from DEATH 2 in a much more vulnerable way. It covers a lot of personal issues from relationships to internal struggles and in each song I tried to speak with my own voice as much as possible as opposed to the more abstract stuff on DEATH 2.”
