BABYMETAL Release New Album “METAL FORTH” & Video for ‘My Queen’ Featuring Spiritbox

J-metal titans BABYMETAL have just unleashed their highly anticipated new album METAL FORTH via Capitol Records – and it’s every bit as ambitious as fans hoped. Alongside the release, the band have dropped a new music video for “My Queen” featuring modern metalcore heavyweights Spiritbox. The track is a punishing mix of detuned riffage, eery soundscape, haunting melodies and visceral screams. The accompanying music video see’s BABYMETAL and Spiritbox’s Courtney LePlante  face off as they become players in an evil game of chess.

Meaning “beyond metal,” METAL FORTH is BABYMETAL’s bold leap into the next era of heavy music – breaking boundaries, mashing genres, and pulling in some of the most exciting names in rock and metal right now. Across the album’s ten tracks, the band team up with Poppy, Tom Morello, Bloodywood, Electric Callboy, Polyphia, and Slaughter to Prevail – all artists they’ve crossed paths with on their relentless world touring schedule.

Fans will already know some of the earlier singles like “Kon! Kon!” (feat. Bloodywood), “RATATATA” (with Electric Callboy), “from me to u” (feat. Poppy), and the punishing “Song 3” (with Slaughter to Prevail). But the rest of the tracklist promises even more surprises – from the shredding chaos of “METALI!!” with Tom Morello, to the intricate, melodic “Sunset Kiss” with Polyphia.
