ATREYU Unleash New Single “Ego Death”

Metalcore legends Atreyu are back in full force with their brand-new single “Ego Death,” out now via Spinefarm Records and it hits like a gut punch in the best possible way.
Following the momentum of their recent release “Dead,” the band double down on their heavier instincts while tapping into something deeply introspective. “Ego Death” is built on crushing riffs, a driving grooves, and a huge, emotionally charged chorus that feels tailor-made for screaming back at the stage. It’s aggressive, cathartic, and unmistakably Atreyu.
Lyrically, the track explores transformation and self-destruction as a path to rebirth — the idea that sometimes you have to let parts of yourself go in order to truly move forward. As the band puts it: “Sometimes a piece of you has to die in order for you to truly live. ‘Ego Death’ is peace.”
Alongside the new music, Atreyu have also announced a spring 2026 US tour supporting Sevendust, kicking off on April 20th in Indianapolis and wrapping up on May 20th in Knoxville. The run includes festival appearances at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple, promising plenty of chaos along the way.
