As It Is Release New Single ‘Do You Remember?’

As It Is have shared a deeply nostalgic new single, ‘Do You Remember?’, offering a final preview of their upcoming self-titled album, due out July 17th.
The track leans into reflection and gratitude, revisiting the band’s journey through highs, lows, and everything in between. Frontman Patty Walters describes it as a celebration of shared history, built on the countless nights spent reliving stories from life on the road, time in the studio, and the moments that shaped them as a band.
“‘Do You Remember?’ is about the countless nights we’ve spent retelling all our favourite stories from the road, the studio, and everywhere else that music has taken us,” Walters explains. “When we were on top of the world and when we hit rock bottom, we went through every moment of it together, and the memories and the friendships are something we cherish every day.”
The single was co-written with Max Helyer of You Me At Six, who helped shape the song’s reflective tone after the pair first discussed working together at a Marshall writing camp in 2025. Helyer says the session quickly turned into something more personal, as stories from tour life and the band’s history naturally found their way into the writing process.
“We wanted it to be a triumphant celebration of where they have been and what they’ve gone through together, but most importantly coming back and doing it for the right reasons,” Helyer adds.
Accompanying the release is a homegrown music video filmed in a living room in Brighton, surrounded by friends, partners, and long-time fans.
“It was a blast filming the music video… it felt so special to reconnect with the band’s most humble beginnings,” Patty shares. “The band’s first-ever show was in a similar living room, and it felt like one of those same stories that inspired us to write this song in the first place.”
