A deeply personal and emotionally charged cut, ‘Full On Fight For Fun’ sees Artio balancing raw vulnerability with soaring alternative rock energy.
Speaking on the single vocalist Rae Brazill explains:“‘Full On Fight is an ode to my sister, and our childhood. A story of growing up, changing, becoming adults and experiencing our lives together, expressing how much I love her and how far I wish to see her go. The title is the name of a game we made up as children, and the vocal sample at the end is her. She is as much this song as we are, and it’s all for her.’”
The video perfectly captures the warmth and nostalgia at the heart of the track, while the collaboration with As It Is adds another dynamic layer to Artio’s ever-evolving sound.
Soul Rot stands as a bold and self-assured sophomore album that further cements Artio as a band with a singular vision and an uncompromising commitment to their own voice. It’s an ambitious, cathartic body of work that sees Artio operating at the very peak of their powers.
To celebrate the release of Soul Rot, Artio are set to hit the road this March for The Soul Rot UK Tour, kicking off in Nottingham before wrapping up in Manchester later in the month.
