Modern metalcore pioneers Architects are back with another new single and this time they enlisted the help of ex Bring Me The Horizon instrumentalist and producer Jordan Fish. The track entitled ‘Curse’ see’s the band delivering a sound that has elements from all over their extensive back catalogue from the fast syncopated technical riffing and drum patterns to the melodic atmospherics with singer Sam Carter proving why he is one of the most diverse vocalists around with his sing/scream mix. Jordan Fish’s input can definitely be heard in the production with that in your face sound and glitchy flourishes he was so good at producing with BMTH. The drums were engineered by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood who has worked with Architects on the past few records and they seemed to have honed it in to an artform with Dan Searle’s drums sounding absolutely huge and all capped off with a solid mix and master by Zakk Cervini (Blink 182, Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens).
