ANGER PARTY Release Brand New Single ‘Shadows’

Self coined ‘Alternative Horror Rock’ outfit ANGER PARTY are back with their third single ‘Shadows’ which is out today via Silent Cult. The song brings out a new side to young band’s sound, swapping the riffs and twisted angst fuelled energy for sweet melodies & huge choruses in an emotionally packed rock anthem.

Speaking on the themes behind the single, vocalist Ashley Wilson says: “Shadows’ focuses on the bitter realization that we are powerless in controlling our most prominent flaws, and in turn, the way in which these flaws affect those closest to us. We explore our impassioned obsessions with idyllic romance, all the while knowing that we’re doomed to fail and those around us would be better off without us. We are poisonous, destructive, toxic beings. Don’t get too close.” 

This may only be the bands third output but their songwriting so far shows a sense of maturity to it and the range of sounds and emotions on display makes them definitely ones to watch and an exciting prospect in the future of UK rock!

Alongside the single the band have released the music video which expands on the bands previous themes they describe as “…a narrative that see’s sacrifice, torture in the form of a crown of thorns and a poisoned chalice.”
